Every year, Rural Aid’s Farm Recovery Events bring volunteers together to support farming families recovering from natural disasters and ongoing hardship. From repairing fences and clearing debris to lending a hand wherever it’s needed most, these events are about practical support, connection and showing rural communities they are not facing recovery alone.

You don’t need farming experience or trade skills to get involved. People from all walks of life come together, each contributing in their own way to help farmers get back on their feet. Whether you can work on the tools, help with logistics, cook meals or simply show up ready to lend a hand, every volunteer makes a real difference.

More than just a weekend of work, Farm Recovery Events create lasting impact for farming families and meaningful connections between city and country communities. Together, we’re standing with farmers every season.

If you would also like to volunteer in between events, you can also volunteer for Rural Aid’s Farm Army. Learn more
